A visit to Abbeyfield first School in Morpeth has enabled us to measure three amazing trees which can be seen on both our map and Gallery page.
Both Mrs Sykes and Mr Critchleys class took part measuring their own very special trees. A beautiful red oak and an amazing weeping willow both recorded as notable trees.
In addition to this an incredible Ancient Beech tree on the edge of the School woodland has also been recorded.
A huge thankyou to both class teachers , to Ross and Heather at Forest School and the biggest thankyou of all to those wonderful children who took part and helped us add those incredible trees…..
