Children from St Teresa’s RC Primary School in Heaton joined us yesterday to celebrate the official luanch of the Northumbria veteran tree project, audio tree journey across Heaton park.
Many of the trees were voiced by the children on this trail which recounts a range of significant events that have occurred in the area over the past two hundred years. In addition to this it describes the link between trees and nature with the trail also enabling the listener to discover how trees work, and investigates the magical world that is folk lore linked to trees.
